  • The FP&A Junior Controller is member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Department and is responsible for the processing of business and financial information that enables insightful decision-making.
  • He/She participates in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, performs deviation analysis vs the planning versions, analyses current and past financial information, extracts information from the ERP systems and contributes to the creation of management reports.
  • The Financial Controller reports to the Director Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
 

Responsibilities in Detail:

  • Analyzes financial performance in all critical areas, including revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Participates in the creation of managerial reporting
  • Contributes to the regular planning sessions, i.e. budgets and forecasts
  • Interacts with subsidiaries’ finance teams to ensure quality deliverables, proper information flow and support as needed
  • Extracts data from the ERP systems for further analysis and reporting
  • Assists in the creation of ad-hoc financial models to support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborates with business operations and other key stakeholders to attain a strong business understanding used to explain variances and bring efficiencies
  • Performs cost controlling for Headquarters’ functions  
     

Skills and Specifications:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • University degree with focus on Finance, Accounting & Controlling
  • One to three years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis / Financial Reporting / Financial Controlling
  • Familiarity with international business environments and ideally, in the area of IT and/or the automotive branch
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • ERP/financial planning software implementation experience will be considered a plus
  • Experience in working with IFRS and understanding of US GAAP principles will be considered a plus
  • Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Navision skills would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and a highly analytical mind, leading to problem solving approach and behavior
  • Ability to work in an international, multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Fluent in at least two languages; one of it English
