  • The HR Manager supports local management and employees at our headquarters in Germany and our subsidiary in Salzburg, Austria in the implementation and coordination of human resources and labor relations policies and practices.

Responsibilities in detail

  • Serves as a contact person in all personnel relevant matters such as labor law, social security and tax-based questions
  • Supports managers on employee relations matters including employee concerns, management of performance issues, etc.
  • Close cooperation and negotiation with the works council in all HR issues
  • Fosters familiarization of local employees and new entries with HR policies, company culture and working environment
  • Executes exit process, including dismissal interviews and related documentation
  • Responsible for recruiting process
  • Takes care of preparation and delivery of monthly payroll, working with outsourced payroll providers
  • Responsible for correspondence with tax authorities, social security institutions and health insurance companies
  • Administrates local personnel files as well as personnel data; administrates frame insurance contracts, e.g. staff pension fund
  • Administrates the time management tool
  • Supports and advises on local performance management process
  • Takes care of HR-Reporting  
  • Assumes a key role on special projects

Skills and Specifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations or comparable professional education with focus on human resources; other certifications and diplomas are a benefit
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Broad working knowledge as an HR all-rounder in sophisticated international business environments and ideally, in the area of IT and/or the automotive branch
  • Sound knowledge of German labor law, social security law and industrial constitution law
  • Detail orientation and sense of prioritization
  • Structured, reliable and responsible work style
  • A strong level of integrity and loyalty
  • Outstanding organizational skills combined with distinct hands-on mentality, service orientation and empathy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Good computer skills and IT knowledge (esp. MS Office)
  • Business fluent in German and English (verbally and in writing)
