  • The Solution Architect is responsible for the architecture of one or more particular incadea applications (or application platforms).
  • He/She provides a strong business view and supports to implement a detailed design of business solutions into the basic structure of a software-system.
  

Responsibilities in detail:

  •  Leads and tracks the architectural investigation projects with reporting the status to the development management, System Architect and CTO 
  • Decomposes the application into subsystems and components; documentation (e.g. components, logical model)
  • Synchronizes the architectural model and assignment of architectural responsibilities to defined component owners
  • Analyses business solution designs and creates corresponding technical concepts, technical implementation designs and, the initial implementation effort estimation
  • Aligns the investigations with Microsoft platform activities, sets investigation goals, initiates component projects, proactively involves assigned module owners 
  • Monitors technological Microsoft platform roadmaps, activities and trends or product renewals
  • Creates a technological platform architecture roadmap aligned with the Microsoft Server system roadmaps to fulfill strategic application targets
  • Creates an architecture specification as framework for all distributed architecture documentation and defines architecture documentation structure and methods 
  • Defines architectural guidelines for module owners or other assigned experts and reviews their code and architectural documentation 
  • Monitors ongoing product developments ensuring alignment with architecture specification 
  • Proactively creates feasibility feedbacks as well as early warnings on deviations or delays 
  • Is a key player between different teams and architects, senior developers of incadea across the globe regarding DMS software architecture 
  • Drives proactively needed steps, aligns architecture resource plans with responsible team leads, develop & maintain good relationships with technological partners (OEM, MS, Partners)
 

Skills and Specifications:

  • Well-founded Software-Engineering or IT education (with Bachelor or Master degree) or equal qualification 
  • Profound Microsoft platform Software or IT experience, minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Windows Client/Server applications, Microsoft SQL Server and  Microsoft Dynamics server products, Microsoft certifications beneficial 
  • Broad knowledge of integration and interoperability of software systems especially with Microsoft platform technologies
  •  Proven background with state-of-the art IT technologies including Service Oriented Architecture concepts, virtualization of desktops and server systems, cloud computing, security concepts as well as server system performance measurement and optimization 
  • Professional experience with enterprise or business processes and ERP systems is an advantage 
  • Capability to design and optimize architecture related to business processes  
  • Team building capability, leadership and management including conflict resolution 
  • Solution orientation, strong organizing skills with high ownership and reliability 
  • Resilient to pressure 
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies within an internationally growing and dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional German beneficial)
