  • The Project Manager (Delivery) is responsible for planning, executing and, finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • He/She defines the project’s objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities in detail

  • Directs and manages the project from beginning to end including definition of project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develops full-scale project plans and associated communication & milestone documents by appropriate tools
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations and effectively communicates them to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
  • Liaises with the project stakeholders
  • Estimates the resources and participants required to achieve project goals
  • Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
  • Drafts and submits budget proposals and, recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition of required internal personnel
  • Determines and assesses additionally required staff and/or consultants also during the project cycle  
  • Delegates tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate personnel; tracks project milestones and deliverables
  • Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts in the project team
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and, presentations
  • Requests status reports from the project team, analyzes results and, troubleshoots problem areas
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans
  • Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project team members and contractors; influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Builds, develops and, grows any business relationship vital to the success of the Project

Skills and Specifications

  • Well-founded IT education or equal qualification
  • Min. 3 – 5 years of professional experience in international project management, ideally in the Automotive Branch and, in a software development environment
  • Profound knowledge in Project Management concepts & methodologies; Project Planning software like MS Project
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong team leading skills focused on project result and success
  • Dedicated customer orientation; excellent communication
  • Financial understanding to establish and manage project budgets
  • Change agility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating personality
  • Political sensitivity; ability to foster cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, customers and, other departments as well as ability to defuse tensions
  • Excellent in English. Arabic is a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively
