  • The Accountant reconciles and adjusts various general ledger accounts and/or bank statements and may perform moderately complex analysis of performance results.
  • He/She is responsible for compiling, consolidating, and analyzing accounting and finance information for the production of financial statements and reports.
  • Being part of the administration the Accountant works under the guidance of the Administration and Finance Manager, in case of need doing also the activities of the Administration Support Specialists (cfr.)

Responsibilities in detail:

  • Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Computes taxes owed and prepares tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
  • Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or, to provide advice
  • Establishes tables of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts
  • Develops, implements, modifies, and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
  • Surveys operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
  • Under the Administration manager, takes care of the clocking of the employees, as well of all the holidays and provides these information to the Payroll provider
  • Supports the Debit, Credit and Purchase Specialists, working together with them in the Finance & Administration team 

Skills and Specifications:

  • Good knowledge of English language;
  • Experience in Microsoft Navision ERP System
  • Experience in finance/accounting at least 2 years;
  • Advanced user of xls;
  • Organized person with good presentational skills, capable to deliver data accurate and on time
